My first Famous Person...JIM CANTORE

So there is some tropical weather in the Gulf of Mexico, and where are the crew from The Weather Channel? That is right people- Pensacola Beach,FL. Lance's love is meteorology, and he watches The Weather Channel about as much as he watches Steelers football..uh, well more when there is something brewing in the gulf...so when we had the chance to go meet Jim Cantori- a Meteorologist with The Weather Channel, that Lance has been watching for YEARS we jumped on it. He was excited (Lance, uh, not Jim) hee hee. We went down there and watched him do a few takes, and some live feeds. We also watched some people act like fools behind Jim (hopefully not locals, ha ha, as I am a local now I don't want to be seen like that). At one point he was like "What is this shit going on behind me?" there was a really drunk guy with an open shirt RUNNING back and forth about 15 feet behind Jim on the cell phone going "WOOOOOO_HOOOOOO". What an idiot.

Then there was the OTHER drunk guy that just HAD to talk to Jim, and tell about the fishing tournament he was in this weekend that was going to be messed up, and on an on about it....turns out it was HIS fishing trip and he trying to get a plug in for...AND the Stinky Drunk Guy had already ticked Jim off for standing right by the "staging area" and smoking while he was on air. As soon as they got off air Jim said- whoever is smoking needs to put it out you are killing me- I can't breathe" Then after that they started talking and you could see Jim's eyes watering from the Booze coming from the guys pours. blech. THEN after he gave all this information about how is was a red fish/sea bass tournament- (while he smoked right in Jim's face, and Jim nicely asked him to stand downwind from him, as he has to stay out of smoke to get on air)....they left)

Turned out that there another fisherman in the crowd that overheard the exchange- a wife and she called the husband and turned out that the DRUNK was trying to give Jim misinformation......about the fish, and that the tourney wasn't as big as he said it was..etc. etc. etc....Luckily as we watched Jim on the Live feed he just kinda mentioned it and the Seafood Festival this weekend together, but nothing really much more than that. SO, leads me to believe that poor Jim has had to put up with crazy people like this before.

All in all it was pretty cool.
